These are awesome boots but....The straps are to small, I'll have to add a hole if I wanna wear them, will that void a refund?. I wasnt aware the boots had a side zipper. I thought I specifically looked for boots with out that, guess I missed it. From my experience the zipper doesnt hold up. Depends how well made the boots are can only tell with wear. Advice on how they might fit better? Disappointment no laces came with them.

These boots look pretty badass, but they're not perfect. They fit true to size so I'm glad I didn't listen to another review that said to size down. You can tighten or loosen the boots around your feet and ankles with the buckles. With regular weight socks these boots fit pretty well, although there is some extra space above the tops of my feet and toes. But the length is just right. The shoe material, including the tongue, bends and wrinkles oddly, and it's not the most comfortable. There is no arch support at all, which isn't great for my flat feet. With some insoles, these boots could be improved. I imagine that these boots are not ideal for those with extra large calves and ankles. I have really thin ones and I have a little extra wiggle room.I tightened the buckles which made the shoes wrinkle oddly, but made them fit more snugly around my legs. The platform is pretty low so you won't get much extra height. Also, the spikes at the front of the toes aren't safe since they made me trip up the stairs and spill a full mug of coffee. I get the spikes in the back but the front make them a bit dangerous. They get caught on things too easily. For $70, the quality should be better. You can see some of the glue holding the sole in place. But I do love the overall look of these boots and their versatility. They're just worth less money and aren't comfortable enough.

These fit really well -- I am usually an 8.5 and ordered size 9, as I like a bit more room in boots because of heavier socks. They fit just a wee bit loose which is perfect for me. They zip up and are not tight on my leg. The best part is the effect that they seem to have on people who see them. An old lady in combat boots with spikes! LOL, I think it's hilarious. I think they're great! I wish I'd had these about 30 years ago!

Really cool boots, very lightweight for how chunky they are.They run a whole size large. I ordered a 9 and they were swimming in me. Going to return for an 8.I was really impressed with the height they have.Since I haven’t been able to wear them I can say how they wear or how they hold up. I’ll edit when I switch them out and wear them a bit.
