Those are awesome! Relatively comfy even before breaking them in. They aren’t very grippy though, my floors are hardwood and I had to make sure I wasn’t stepping to far or my back foot would slip out from under me. I’m sure that’ll change when the soles get worn in or you could get grips with it. Either way there are fantastic and I want them in every color under the sun now.
I have to admit as a plus sized woman I was afraid that the stocking part of the boot wouldn't fit comfortably on my thigh area but it's very stretchy and it goes all the way up to my thigh despite me being nearly 6 foot. The only issue is after I get the stocking part of the boot all the way up I can maybe take 5-6 steps before the stocking part of the boot begins to slide down my legs. I tried double sided tape and they still slide down so I invested in a garter belt that I'll wear with the boots to keep them from falling.
Finally a pair of boots that are friendly to those of us with bigger legs! For reference, I’m a dense 180 pounds and about 5’7”. I carry most of my weight in my hips, butt, thighs, and legs. I struggle to find boots that’ll fit my big calves. Also, for reference, my calves are so big that I could not squeeze both hands around my calf and have my fingers touch, so even though I may look relatively slim in photos because I’m just fairly proportional, I definitely have some big legs. Anyway, these boots fit! They have a slight stretch to them, but not a great deal of stretch. I’ll still have to pull these boots all the way back up my thigh like they’re supposed to sit ever so often as I walk in them (see the photo of me having to pull them up). However, these boots never sag lower than right below my knee, and sometimes, I’ll just leave them like that because that’s really a nice look in itself. I’m sharing different photos, so you can see what I mean about how they look after they’ve naturally slowly sagged down to right below my knee vs. how they’re supposed to stay up higher on my thigh. They’d probably be more prone to staying up if I wore pants with them or some kind of material that they could better cling to.I want to add that I feel like these boots also make my legs look slimmer and longer than they would naturally appear without them, but that’s just my own personal observation (see the photos to form your own opinion).All in all, excellent material and craftsmanship, + they’re super easy to walk in even though the heel is quite high.Lastly, I just want to add that these boots remind me so much of Lana from Archer! Love that show!!
