Wanted for casual winter attire.. these boots are perfectly on trend and have ability to crossover with many styles variations.. So, I was a bit disheartened at the end results. (see included pic.s to help understand my issues!)Ordered my usual sz. 8 and these fit in length as expected, foot slides in/out without issue.. Made in true combat style without the “cheat” side zipper- I love this- and why I chose this boot!! **shoe opens all the way with a quick loosening of laces. Eyelets feel solidly attached- laces are plenty long. Great rubber lug sole.. provides a nice grip while walking in snow and keeps shoe dry from below! Love color contrast.. classically unique!My issues are with how truly thin these are. Made without an ounce of padding/battening- boot lacks any insulation for warmth.. What you see is what you get- besides PU leather exterior there is nothing else!! So, these not only get COLD but wet thru thin material. (rubber sole stays dry so there’s that..) **It is a must to waterproof boot before wearing so be prepared to do so.. These remind of costume shoe a bit- look the part but, made for aesthetic’s… at least if you plan to use in winter months.The finish trim piping along the top rim cuts into your skin like mad.. you must wear a sock that extends past top of boot or, you’ll be sore within minutes and unable to wear these boots again for days!! (trust me, I found out the hard way!)Last angst- these are flabby in excess material! See photos for visual and although it fits in length.. there’s bulge of material when foot bends. (No! I dont have narrow or skinny feet either) and tightening laces doesn’t fix issue.. it’s the boxy cut of boot. Again, made almost like costume shoe?!Overall, these issues are personal preference in expectations of warmth and fit- being a boot it should have some sort of interior substance! Will make a great boot if wearing during summer.. At price point of $33- I shouldn’t expect a lot. I just didn’t realize it would be a shell of a boot. Sorry so long winded, just wanted to make all aware.. I saw 5 star global reviews and took a chance. Hoping this info can help your decision- stay safe.
