But beautiful and fun.

First off, these run large. So that doesn't help with the fit or comfort or practicality. Second, they feel like a literal metal box on my feet. At this price point and for this level of quality, these boots should be comfortable to walk in! They're not. They're not even comfortable or stand it or sit it!Seriously, these are really, really uncomfortable boots and that makes them feel super cheap even though they look beautiful in person. If I put these on with my eyes closed, I would think they were a pair of $10 Chinese plastic costume boots, that's how bad they are. If you're going to put this much care into the cosmetics and artistry of a boot, put a little thought into the fit while you're at it, maybe?Because of how they feel, I can't rate them more than two stars and I'm only giving them two stars for the outside art design, sadly.

As a 90' teen these were an immediate YES...sadly they aren't going to work. Mostly because of my own wearing needs, but I was also disappointed by the "scuffing" on the toe. Unless you really know what to look for you in the picture you wouldn't realize that they fake aged the toe. To me it looks like a swipe of white acrylic paint. Pretty sure that's what it is. It doesn't look bad, per se, it's just...unnecessary. Probably would have been 3 stars - BUT these are very well constructed. They look like they will last.I won't be able to wear them because 1) they are really hard to get on. Even with the zipped side, the opening is small. I am wheelchair bound and thought these would work. I wear boots almost everyday.I was able to get my foot in and sighed with relief because I had been looking forward to wearing these with my black stonewashed maxi dress. Sad face when I realized that the tops of the boots fall at an awkward place where my circulation is immediately cut off when I put my feet on the foot plate. Super uncomfortable and no way around it.Definitely size up a half a size for the average foot and a fill size for a chubby or wide foot. They are weirdly narrow in some areas and then awfully roomy in the toe box. Probably the design.

So, the shoes are adorable and pretty comfy. We ordered a size 8, recieved size 8.5- in a size 8 box. Fortunately, they were sized a bit larger, so they actually fit me, but not the spawn they were bought for. I'll probably buy a different pair for her, though, because she really wanted them. The color variety is pretty nice. We ordered the white, and they have a nice distressed look to them on top of the toe box, but they don't look old or dirty. Overall, a fun pair of shoes for a quirky family.

I was very excited to get these because I like boho and these are boho all day long. So cute! They did not disappoint at all when I saw them in person.These are advertised as leather - check! They have a non-slip solid sturdy sole - check! The laces really open up and they are not just there for looks. This helps with fit, especially for someone like me who has a high arch and has problems with boots and shoes that come up high over the instep. These fit me great. To facilitate putting the boots on, there is a zipper on the inside that opens wide and then zips up securely. This really helps someone like me with a wide foot across the instep.I normally wear a 8.5W so I got 9.5 to allow for all the aforementioned problems I have. Wide sizes are not offered. I would advise anyone who needs a wide to order TWO sizes up, not just one because the leather is a stiff leather and does not stretch AT ALL. It is the style of the boot and not a negative at all. Like with any shoe or boot, it is just what you have to do to get unique styles to fit.I got them in blue and I love the color. The soles are black and the appliqués are gray. What I did not notice but what is clearly seen in the Amazon listing is a scuffing of the color at the toe. This is on both boots and is obviously intentional. I took a picture to show it more clearly. This just goes with the boho look and is not a defect.I am thrilled with these. I would have been very sad if they had not fit, but they do with the little work-arounds I have learned I need to use to have footwear fit that does not offer wide sizes. If this is your style, you will love them!
