Below are some critical reviews about CUSHIONAIRE Womens Genuine Platform ChestnutI bought the green and light brown ones and absolutely loved them initially. However, I'm having a similar problem a lot of others are having.. my heels slip out. I'm originally a true 8.5 and a lot of others suggested to size down at lease half a size down. So i got an 8. But they still slip out and cause my socks to slide down. I would return them but i really don't wanna deal with the hassle of that so I'm just keeping them and dealing with it. I would suggest sizing down a whole size if you don't want to deal with the same problem.
They look exactly like the photos and fit true to size. Feels quality overall. Only issue is they dont stay on your feet. As you walk your heel will slide out every step. I would imagine this is due to the thick sole not bending and the design not being tight enough on the top of the ankle and heel to keep your foot in. I wore them outside for 15 minutes before i realized walking is uncomfortable and tiring because of the sliding; you have to walk different to compensate for the sliding off the heel. If i had known that before walking outside i would have returned them.
I was so excited for these but I just feel the sizing is way off. I’m usually a 8.5 /9 in sneakers but an 8 in most uggs. I went with my true size 8.5 initially and they were so big they slipped off and I had to return those and then I ordered an 8 but I’m pretty sure I will return those too because they still slip when I walk and I have two socks on with them. Plus even though they slip they still feel tight on my toes so it’s super weird sizing. They are super warm and they feel nice and comparable to the other brand but they aren’t near as comfy but could be due to the sizing issue. So I guess if you can get your sizing perfect and they fit then ya, they are great but if not then they are just an ok dupe.

Uggs in this style have been out of stock so I thought I’d give these a try. It came decently packaged in a box with tissue.Suede is about the same as Ugg but not as smooth but it’s ok. Also the chestnut is more like a khaki . The inside ‘fur’ is nice and soft. Platform style is what I was looking for. I bought my regular Ugg size which is a 9 and it’s fine although the toe box is a smidge smaller or not as wide because my big toe hits the inside top of the shoe with out my inserts. It doesn’t do that with Uggs. Sizing up would make the too big because they already move a little bit up and down when I walk but I always wear with socks so it’s ok for me. Also with my Uggs I have to wear inserts because they are so flat and hard with zero arch support. These are a harder/firmer feel on the inside to walk in than Uggs ( zero Cushy feel underfoot )but not sure if that’s because of the extra platform. With my inserts I dont feel it so it’s ok. Lastly- they are warm but because the fur on the inside is probably not the same as Ugg and is perhaps polyester , your feet do sweat a little. Overall it’s a good alternative and I’m ok with it. Just wish the color were actually that warm deep chestnut as depicted on the box and online .
I purchased the taupe color in size 9. I am normally an 8.5. I have this model in the normal chestnut version without the platform so I thought it would fit the same but my foot was slipping out a lot in the 9. I got the 8.5 and it still slips a little bit but I think if I sized down to an 8 I wouldn’t be able to wear thick socks with it (which is how I always intend on wearing with these shoes since the inner material is not wool like real uggs). But if you don’t intend on wearing socks with this shoe I would size down. Otherwise it fits true to size, just larger compared to this brand’s other similar model. I must say the quality is great as the upper is made of genuine suede. Uggs are sold out everywhere so this is definitely the best alternative (I own a pair of uggs too) and I think at half the price point of uggs, I would choose these in a heartbeat. My feet don’t get sweaty so I don’t find the synthetic material on the inside a problem but I can see where investing in uggs would be more ideal for those who do profusely sweat in their shoes. All in all I highly recommend, the color is very accurate (a grey, cool brown) and it’s extremely comfortable. Keep in mind the platform makes the shoe less malleable to your foot so it will feel a bit harder on the sole than the non platform.UPDATE: stretches with wear. if you’re in between sizes, size down. Normal size I may even size down .5 (ex: size 8, size down to size 7.5). I am 8.5-9 and ended up going with the 8. These are huge.
Saw all the buzz about these in social media and thought let’s give them a try.. mind u I’m a true and loyal Ugg lover from years back.. I own 10 different pairs from slippers to booties etc.. so when I got these I was impressed by how well made they are and comfy.. I read some people said to size down a half size.. I did that and my pair is snug but not uncomfortably so.. but I should have stuck with my true size cuz I love wearing socks with my boots.. but other than that if the other brand is a little much for your budget.. get these.. they fit the bill perfectly!! Love
