They look great with jeans or black pants. Regarding comfort, I like all the support provided by the wide heel but if you have wide feet, your toes are going to feel cramped. That is the byproduct of the pointed toe so it is to be expected. I could wear these for an evening but I would have a hard time wearing them all day.
I have never worn a pair of pointed toe shoes, but loved the way they looked in the pictures, so I took a leap! Let me tell you,these don't disappoint! I normally wear an 8 or 8.5 so I ordered an 8.5 due to pointed toe and they fit perfectly. Beautiful soft material and so easy to slip right on due to the elastic at ankle area. The elastic portion is not that hard stretchy elastic either, but a stretchy soft fabric. Really nice heel height.
